You will be able to heal from past wounds, process the things that hold you back, deal with your losses, trauma, fear, anxiety, confusion, and other negativity. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to explore your identity, build your self-esteem, and make conscious choices that will help you create the life you want.
I use a holistic approach to healing, one that makes room for the mind, body, and spirit. Each individual is unique and thus will require a combination of different modalities in order to gain the most benefit. As a result, I tailor my therapy to the individual’s needs to ensure that the work that we do as counsellor/client is aligned with your values.
Sometimes it’s hard to find someone who has no expectations of us and provides a non-judgemental, open, and caring space. Despite the best of intentions, our loved ones can’t always give us the support and guidance we are seeking - they are too close. As a result, people often choose to seek the help of a professional. I commit to creating a safe space for you so that you can be seen for who you are, and thus overcome the obstacles that prevent you from living a life of health and wellness.
I provide individual counselling for a range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, impulsive behavior, substance use, self-esteem, among others; family and couples counselling; and serve a wide range of ages, from mature youth to older adults.
